Fortnite fans have become worried after a rumour started circulating around Twitter claiming that the game would be shutting down.   Is Fortnite going to be shutting down? No, Fortnite won’t be stopping any time soon. The rumour began after PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ developer filed a lawsuit against developer NetEase for alleged copyright infringements against two mobile games, with some people believing this could lead to Fortnite shutting down as a fellow battle royale title. A fake screengrab of a tweet also began circulate which appeared to be from the official Fortnite account, which read: ‘Due to the law suit against PubG on copyright infringement. ‘We are sorry to inform you that Fortnite Battle Royale Will be coming to an end May 24, 2018.’
