The newbie is called ‘Nice For What’, and it landed out of nowhere on Friday — just a day after Drake told a Toronto crowd that new music was on the horizon. What he didn’t mention, though, was that the track would be accompanied by a star-studded video full of all your favourite famous people. Drake Is The Best Salesman Since That Monorail Guy In ‘The Simpsons’ Parks & Rec hero Rashida Jones, Insecure’s Issa Rae, Beyonce bite whistleblower Tiffany Haddish, Black Panther’s Letitia Wright, The Florida Project‘s Bria Vinaite, The Internet frontwoman Syd, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, Emma Roberts, and Olivia Wilde are just a few of the women that Drake called up to feature in the clip. Guess that Hotline Bling still works after all. ‘Nice For What’ is another cut off Drake’s impending new album, which will be the follow-up to 2016’s Views and 2017’s More Life (because apparently, Drake can’t go a year without releasing an album). There’s no release date for the record yet, but this is Drake — so a 22-track album could drop next week for all we know. Watch the video for ‘Nice For What’ below.
